On July 13, SCH nurse managers presented staff members with Magnet pins to showcase their professional nursing excellence.

With cards of support pouring in from Magnet organizations across the country (and in a few cases, from around the world), SCH nurses continue to celebrate our status as a Magnet hospital.
On July 14, SCH nurse managers gathered in the hospital auditorium to present the nursing staff with Magnet pins, which showcase nursing excellence, professionalism and outstanding patient care.
New nursing employees will also receive these pins as a reminder that they are an equally important part of maintaining our hospital's high standards for patient care, and achieving re-designation in the future.
The congratulatory cards from other Magnet organizations are displayed on a large map showing all the Magnet organizations in the nation. By mid-day Wednesday, these cards were dog-eared from being read over and over by appreciative SCH staff.
Please continue to recognize the nursing staff for this awesome achievement.
