The science is everywhere at SCH

The periodic table above may look a little different than the one you learned about in chemistry class. That’s because this table holds elements that make up a new kind of science — The science of feeling better. This is a whole new way of thinking about health care that draws in medical, emotional and environmental components, led by Swedish Covenant Hospital.
This periodic table is comprised of what we call the elements of healing — technology, research, information, kindness, food, light, nature, art, touch and family. Together, they trigger a complex chemistry of mind, body, spirit and support system which ultimately improve your health and well-being.
On this Web page, you will find updates and descriptions of the research, education and technology at work in our hospital, and how our employees and medical staff are making this possible.
Note: We are testing employee readership of the Employee News Web site. The first employee to read this and call Tracy at ext 4042 will win a prize.(Posted 4/1/2010)
