Chicago Back Institute excels in first month at SCH

Visitors to the Chicago Back Institute watch a demonstration on a new, minimally invasive procedure that is offered through the Chicago Back Institute.
Holding nearly 120 office visits and performing 17 surgeries since they opened their doors on July 1, the Chicago Back Institute has hit the ground running in their first month at Swedish Covenant Hospital.
The new practice is lead by three highly skilled additions to Swedish Covenant Hospital” s medical staff: Dr. Jerrel Boyer, Dr. Fred H. Geisler and Dr. Dan Laich.
The physicians and their staff gave a heart-felt and informative presentation on their practice at the Manager” s Meeting on July 22. Later in the day, they welcomed nearly 400 SCH employees, patients, visitors and physicians to an open house of their new offices, located on the first floor of the Garden Pavilion.
Open house attendees mingled with the staff and physicians, toured the new offices, watched demonstrations and viewed exhibits presenting new neurological technology and techniques, and learned about the Chicago Back Institute's comprehensive approach to patient care. They also enjoyed music and refreshments.
